Billings, MT – RV & Storage Complex
Regency Storage Systems provided three storage buildings to a mini storage complex in Billings, Montana. Two of the buildings were designed to operate as classic mini storage buildings. The third building was customized to accommodate large recreational vehicle – RV storage.
The 1st building is 40’x200’x8.5’ in size, it houses (40) forty 10’x20’ rentable storage units and has a 0.5:12 roof pitch. The second building is 10’x200’x8.5′ in size, it has a single-slope roof and houses (40) forty 10’x10’ units. The third building is 40’x126’x16’ in size and was designed for RV storage, it houses (9) nine 14’x40’ units to accommodate varying RV sizes. In accordance with the county building code requirements, all three storage buildings were engineered with a wind speed of 115 mph and a roof snow load of 30 lbs.
All of the buildings feature Janus roll up doors and 2 ¾” R-8 faced fiberglass insulation rolls. Bolts, screws, hardware and base anchors, a sealant package, and Montana engineer stamped drawings, partitions, roof and wall sheeting, trim and bracing were also included with each building.
The city of Billings, Montana is located in Montana’s Yellowstone County, and is roughly 15 miles away from Huntley and 12 miles outside Hesper.
